Summary
The USB-1408FS-Plus-OEM offers four differential (DIFF) or eight single-ended (SE) analog inputs, two 12-bit analog output channels, 16 DIO channels, and one event counter.

Everything you need to begin acquiring, viewing, and storing data is included, plus comprehensive software support.

Analog Input: The USB-1408FS-Plus-OEM provides eight 13-bit SE analog inputs or four 14-bit DIFF analog inputs. The board offers software-selectable analog input ranges from ±1 V to ±20 V in a DIFF configuration, and ±10 V in a SE configuration.

Sampling Rate: When scanning continuously to computer memory (hardware-paced mode), the board has a 48 kS/s maximum sampling rate.

Channel-Gain Queue: The channel-gain queue feature lets you configure a list of channels and gains for each scan. Each channel can have a different gain setting. The gain settings are stored in a channel-gain queue list that is written to local memory on the board.

The USB-1408FS-Plus-OEM channel-gain queue list can contain up to eight unique channels in SE mode and up to four unique channels in DIFF mode. The channels can be non-consecutive, but must be listed in increasing order.

Analog Output: The USB-1408FS-Plus-OEM offers two 12-bit analog outputs with a range of 0 V to 5 V.

The maximum update rate for the analog outputs depends on several factors, including the speed of your USB port.

When updating continuously from computer memory (hardware-paced mode), the analog output updates at a maximum rate of 48 kS/s per channel.

Digital I/O: The USB-1408FS-Plus-OEM provides 16 TTL-level digital I/O lines. Digital I/O can be programmed in 8-bit ports for either input or output.

Pull-Up/Pull-Down Configuration: The USB-1408FS-Plus-OEM has a user-configurable internal jumper to configure the digital bits for pull-up (default) or pull-down.

Counter Input: All three boards support one 32-bit TTL-level counter that accepts frequency inputs up to 1 MHz.

External Clock: The USB-1408FS-Plus-OEM has a bidirectional external clock terminal. When configured for input, A/D conversions can be paced by an external source. The board supports 48 kHz maximum TTL-level input signals. When configured for output, the board paces A/D conversions on a second board.
